Mike did this last night while I was sleeping. What does everyone think? Is it too bright? Should we tone it down with some other colors too?

On change would be to maybe try changing the red background in the main section to the lightest pink in the crab, then have red, dark grey, black, or whatever colors for the text. It's a little hard to read (maybe just the great text for comments actually).
That would be my only suggestion, but it does look good as-is so totally your call! What a good hubby! :)
Oooh... one more thing... the search bar at the top can be changed too. They have a grey and a black bar that would probably look good with your new color scheme. It's in a different place than you customize the template though... somewhere on your "Customize" menu.

Now that I see it with more text, I like the red with white text. The dark grey is a little hard on the eyes on top of the red, but maybe a lighter pink, lighter grey, or just stick with the yellow instead of the grey. It really does look great! :)
