1. Pick up the nearest book (at least 123 pages).
Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Dr. Marc Weissbluth

2. Turn to page 123

3. Find the 5th sentence

4. Post the 5th sentence on your blog:
The afternoon nap usually lasts until about three years of age and gradually disappears after the third birthday.

It is so ironic that this is the 5th sentence because my almost three year old has been done with naps for the last 2 months. This book has been really good to me in everything but this...

This is the 5th sentence in the book nearest to me:

"If an appeal has been taken from a judgment of a district court or before the taking of an appeal if the time has not expired, the district court in which the judgment was rendered may allow the taking of the depositions of witnesses to perpetuate their testimony for use in the event of further proceedings in the district court."

And I wonder why when I get home at night I don't feel like reading anymore...

I was curious about the afternoon nap thing myself. Thanks for saving me the effort of looking it up! I don't think Halle's naps will last til 3 either.

I just started this book last night and haven't gotten to page 123 yet, but luckily this doesn't sound like it ruined anything.

"And I've got your answering machine in the kitchen set up to record all incoming calls just in case whoever it was calls back."

Britt, OMG, that is a ridiculous sentence. I don't even understand it. Good luck with all that. :)

From Sarah Susanka's "the not so big life":

"Without evaluating them, make a mental note of the thoughts that go through your head."

Wow...my 5th sentence is from the 2006 Master Tax Guide and it is 15 lines too long something about a qualifying relatives dependent income. I'll spare you the boredom :-)

Zach's naps are stopping also. It also ironically coincided with his 3 year old birthday.
